#13: Ironforge & D-Light Restocked, Plus a Completely New Product

The D-Light and Ironforge are back in stock in limited quantities (and everything else is in stock too). When we sell-out of those, make sure to pre-order quickly rather than just subscribing to an email notice since it helps us get that next batch out the door faster. We currently have additional components ready to go and build another batch on a 1-month timeline as soon as we sell out of the current batch.

We finally solved the reliability issue we were having in some of those so all of these now have a chamfered round edge, which prevents cable damage that was causing fans to stop working. New batch also has a gorgeous red anodization on the aluminum heat sinks.

We also tried making a new near-infrared light product over the past couple months: a near-infrared + deep red light dildo for women. The idea was spurred after a customer asked us about an anal device in relation to concerns about prostate health. It turns out there is some rather promising research in this area. Just last year a paper was published reviewing the literature around photoimmunotherapy (PIT) for cancer treatments, which differs from the photodynamic therapy you may be familiar with (which is itself different from the photobiomodulation that light used by itself provides). PIT works by combining light with a dye that is injected into the body, designed to bind to the cancer cells and respond to the light such that the cancer cell is ruptured in a way that triggers an immune response. This is fundamentally different from the majority of other cancer treatments.

Regardless, we are not working on medical devices at Chroma, just wellness devices so we came up with The Tight Light. Check out the website to sign up to the Tight Light mailing list. We sent out some prototypes and are ready to move forward with a small production batch once we get enough interest. Retail price will be $220 and the initial batch will be $150 so let us know if you want one . As with our other products, we are again massively undercutting the medical establishment, since we will be selling a product for a couple of hundred dollars that can be used thousands of times, instead of having to pay a couple thousand dollars for ten sessions!
